A Blank Slate

Seven years ago I wrote this on the sleepless night before the students come to school. I now post it every year because we will all feel all these things over the next 180 days. 

Educators are special people, and I wish us all the best. Remember whether they are four or 18, they are our babies and God put them in our classrooms for a purpose. Yes, we are to teach them them, but they will teach us a lot of things too if we let them.
